This course asks the question "What is Real?" and emphasizes reconnecting with the natural and elemental world around us. Through personal exploration of our relationship with reality, perception, and the phenomenal world, we work to reconnect with sacred world. All three areas begin from opening our hearts, and rediscovering our worthiness and dignity as feeling, human beings. That is, the Shambhala principle of basic goodness is the fulcrum that can shift our orientation individually, socially, and cosmologically.

This class is the third in a 3-part series, although there is no requirement that the three classes be taken in order:

  • Basic Goodness I:  Who Am I?  The Basic Goodness of Being Human
  • Basic Goodness II:  How Can I Help?  The Basic Goodness of Society
  • Basic Goodness III:  What is Real?  The Basic Goodness of Reality

There are no prerequisites for this course and all are welcome to attend.
