Room: Main Meditation Hall

Lojong, or mind training, are core practices in all of the lineages of the Tibetan tradition. They are essential teachings on transforming the mind by turning away from self-centeredness and by cultivating instead mental habits that generate authentic compassion. Based on the seven points of training of the 10th century Indian teacher, Atisha Dipankara, these pithy slogans are tools for developing openness and skill in working with our own neuroses and in truly being of benefit to our world. They are as helpful and relevant today as they were 1000 years ago.
