This one-day class will be a brief introduction to the unique blend of traditions that comprises Shambhala Buddhism - the Kagyu ("command lineage") and Nyingma ("ancient lineage") schools along with the Shambhala Warrior culture embedded in Tibetan society and pre-Buddhist Bön religion.  We will explore how the lives and teachings of the primary lineage holders continue to serve as up-to-date examples for us as practitioners working with our personal obstacles within our present circumstances.
