    Room: Main Meditation Hall

Our Harvest of Peace celebration occurs each year at the fall equinox. At this time we gather in joyful appreciation, harvesting the abundant gifts of our teachings and our sangha (one another). We feel the deep roots from years of planting, which ground and hold us even in rough weather. Coming together on this happy occasion feels especially important and healing for our community at this time.

    Activities scheduled 9am - 1pm
    Breakfast tacos served between 9:00 – 9:30
Variety of fun activities and stories for adults and for children
Outdoor plantings by adults and by children
Plenty of time to visit with one another and get to know new people

    Fundraiser: Target $10,000

Harvest of Peace is also the time we raise money to cover costs that support our center.  This year our fundraiser will be low-key, with ALL contributions dedicated to partially recoup recent losses from large maintenance expenses. Caring for our old buildings and large grounds requires ongoing attention to assure that they are properly maintained. In 2018 we have so far spent $22,000 for repair and maintenance. Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $10,000 for recent repairs related to (1) the Smith House mainline water and wastewater pipes and (2) rodent remediation.

If you are unable to attend the event, please contribute to our maintenance fund by donating here now. We cannot meet our goal by relying on only those in attendance.

PLEASE REGISTER by September 15 and include the number of people (adults and children) who will attend in the comments box.
