Shambhala Sadhana Gathering for Community Members
All members of the Austin Shambhala Meditation Center are invited to practice the beautiful and inspiring Shambhala Sadhana.
“I have composed a sadhana known as the Shambhala Sadhana that helps us, through the powerful practice of meditation, deepen our insight and feeling of basic goodness and enlightened society.” - The Kongma Sakyong, Jampal Trinley Dradul

In January of 2011, toward the end of his year retreat, the Kongma Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche composed the Shambhala Sadhana as a way to celebrate and strengthen our understanding of basic goodness and enlightened society, and requests that we gather as a community to practice the Shambhala Sadhana. These gatherings are specifically meant for Shambhala members, and this remarkable practice will serve as a way to bind the Shambhala community in kinship, vision, loyalty, and delight.  This is an opportunity for us to further bond as a wholesome community.

The Shambhala Sadhana Gathering will be held on the second Sunday of each month from 12:30 – 2:00 (following the morning sit and tea) and will be led by a Shastri or senior student.

Please be in the meditation hall/room before the start of the Sadhana, as, traditionally, no one is allowed in after the practice has begun.
